Vision from Heaven

This painting was probably inspired by visits to the lighthouse on the cliffs at The Mull of Galloway in Scotland.

The 26 metre high lighthouse is the most southerly in Scotland. It has been run remotely since 1988 but still plays a major navigational role. Its light, now electric, apparently has the power of almost 2 million candles.
