Tents & Marquees Ltd is a family business whose parent company Mottrams was established in 1790 as a ropemaker in Mardol, becoming Eldred Mottram rope and tent maker in the 1880’s when joined by Henry Eldred who was the great great grandfather of the present director of Tents and Marquees, Mr Anthony Price. In 1920 the marquee contracting division of Eldred Mottram became Tents & Marquees Ltd.
