Shropshire RCC

Website for The Community Council of Shropshire (CCS), which is an independent organisation established in November 1960 and has been operational from 1st April 1961.

CCS is one of 38 Rural Community Councils operating throughout England and is funded by the Government, Shropshire County Council and membership subscription. Additional support for project work comes from Shropshire County Council, Local District Councils, Charitable Trusts and donations.

CCS was registered as a charity in July 1963 and is governed by a Constitution that was amended on 23rd March 2000.
